I’m addicted to Porn/Masturbation
I’m 16. I've been addicted to porn and masturbation for a while now. To be honest with you, I really love it but as well hate it at the same time. It makes me feel good sometimes. It makes me relieve some very bad emotions, feelings and situations I went through. But on the other hand, it does not allow me to keep going forward. As I *** and as I watch porn every single day, I'm not being able to go forward. My mind is just wired to this act and can't stop doing it and can't stop thinking about other things that much. Even, you know, sometimes when I don't do that act, very inappropriate and disgusting thoughts in my mind show up. And as soon as I do this act, all of these thoughts just disappear and I think about them as a disgusting act. In the past, I tried going to a professional therapist, an actual therapist. I was promised help and guidance/support through every step but I was ignored as usual. The therapist just disappeared and I never heard from her again. I hope I'm not being whiny or weak/sensitive but that's what I'm going through.
@LP446689 i lived what's you're living right now and it's really hard i know and it won't help if you hate this act or you try to recover by free will cuz no will can stand in front of addiction... you have to know that the addiction is deeply rooted in your personality so the way of recovery is deep too..the recovery is deep mental , psychological and physical change not only stopping of watching porn.. so the only way that helped me and will help you too is the 12 step program and attendance of meetings in PAA(porn addiction anonymous)
