Looking for some one to talk to about spousal drug addiction
Desperate to talk to some one about my partner being addicted to drugs... How to help them get clean yes they are wanting to get clean but wont go to rehab please anyone.

if they are ready to get clean they will go to rehab or whatever they need... If they say they are ready ... "BUT .. do not want to do rehab or think they can do on their own etc"... that IMO is just saying what you want to hear and NOT really ready to do the work to get clean.
Mine was an alcoholic and it was not a long time to deal with this back and forth. If they tell you they can overcome on their own ask them if that is the case why have they waited so long. so many feel a sense of relief and hope when their addicted person says they are ready and want to be clean ... but that is just the start of a difficult journey that will test both of you. Be ready for change
