I'm sorry I know how tough it is. I am in the same situation with being addicted to p0rn, and struggling really badly trying to stop. But relapsing. It is embarrassing. And I don't tell anyone about it irl. I don't have any options as I am struggling to. And I'm sorry.

*Hugs if u want

Yeah, I've been hating myself more and more. I am 36 hours clean and it has been such a struggle to not relapse. But I know I need to get healthy for myself. I just keep coming on 7cups when I have urges. It I'll draw something. I absolutely hate drawing but strangely good at it. So I keep doing it to distract myself.

I love writing and have actually written 4 books myself. But I don't want to write about my addiction since 1 it will become more real to me how bad it's become. And 2 I don't trust people in this house to not snoop at my stuff. But I feel like 7cups is a safe place to talk about it all

I don't like when I don't get any responses. So I decided to try and respond to one that I relate to...

Hello I've been away for the past 9 days I was clear but unfortunately I relapsed I really wishe it lasted a bit longer, now uam trapped with that guilt feeling and that is not a reward anymore but a burden.

Happy for your 36 hours clean , when you see my reply update me and we keep track on it together if it doesn't bother you , yes me too I start doing crafts and recycling things around the house to keep my hand occupied and using my laptop to sit more and when I have the urge I try to go to my family .

Woow writing is such a good talent I be happy if I could read one of your works.

I don't understand ur first question so sorry. I would love to answer if I understood what I meant.

In life I have a lot of triggers. Most of them related to SA, or physical abuse. I even keep a list of triggers in my phone to keep track of then and add more or less as they change and develop. When I have flashbacks related to SA I have a lot of negative thoughts. I was manipulated through out the 4 years with being raped daily. Now that I am out of the situation I struggle with feeling enough. I sometimes thick that it was supposed to happen and that is all I am good for. That's where the p0rn comes in... I get triggered by it and it make me hurt. But I keep doing it to feel pain and it makes my mental health absolutely terrible. And then I got addicted to it and feeling everything and how bad of a person I am to let it happen to me thousands of times

I am 16 rn. I know it is completely wrong and people will judge me for how young I am. I became addicted right after I reported my parents and my gaurdian who sa me. I was put into foster care and immediately went to it. I watched it here and there ever since I was 12. Since I didn't understand what my gaurdian was doing to me. My bio parents do not talk about sex or anything about our human body. And we were not in school to learn that from I know it is wrong to watch it that young. But I was confused and lost on who to go to. I didn't become addicted and only went to it when after being raped I was supposed confused about the termonalogy he used and what he wanted me to do.

I am female

It's really hard iam in the same situation but with commitment you can stop fight ignite the flam you have to fight even more, you are 16 now you still have a life ahead a future so don't let this challenge wreck your body and your mind.

Let me be plain. Let me be clear.

This habit has no power here

Except the power that you give

Each time you choose to let it live.

Throw away the keys. The phone. The screen.

Put distance between you and the thing

That calls your name in quiet hours.

Remove the path. Cut down the flowers

That lead you to the same old door.

Make it harder. That's the war.

Not willpower—but wisdom's way:

Don't fight the fire. Keep flames away.

Know your moments. Know your times.

When does the guest send his signs?

Late at night? When you're alone?

When boredom sits upon the throne?

Be ready then. Have something planned.

A book. A walk. A friend's hand.

Don't wait until the urge is strong.

Prevent the storm. Don't prove you're strong.

Your body is not your enemy.

It craves release. That's how it's made.

But you can move that energy

Into the light. Out of the shade.

Run. Jump. Lift. Sweat. Create.

Don't let the craving sit and wait.

Move your body through the day.

Tired bodies have less to say.

The shame must stop. The guilt must end.

Shame is not your helping friend.

When you fall, get up. That's all.

Don't lie in guilt against the wall.

Say to yourself: "I slipped. So what.

I'm not my fall. I am the one

Who gets back up and tries again.

This battle's won in small steps, friend."

Find a friend. One you trust.

Secrets in the dark turn to dust

When spoken to another heart.

You don't have to do this part

Alone. Alone is where it grows.

Speak it out. Let someone know.

The shame dissolves when brought to light.

The guest gets scared. He hates the light.

Fill your mind with better things.

The guest survives on what you bring

Into your thoughts throughout the day.

Garbage in? He comes to play.

Read good books. Watch better shows.

Let your mind breathe. Let it grow.

What feeds the guest? Starve that food.

What kills the guest? Make that your mood.

Forgive yourself before you start.

A heavy heart can't play its part.

You're not disgusting. You're not bad.

You're just a human. Like your dad.

Like your brother. Like your friend.

This habit's common. It will end

Not when you hate yourself enough—

But when you treat yourself with love.

Take it day by day by day.

Don't look at years. Don't look away

From what's in front of you right now.

Just one day. Make a vow:

"Today I won't. Just for today.

Tomorrow I'll deal with tomorrow's way."

One day turns to two. Then three.

And one day you'll find you're free.

There is no magic. No switch to flip.

Recovery is a difficult trip.

But every step you take away

From that old guest is a step toward day.

You'll slip. You'll fall. You'll curse your name.

Then get back up and try again.

The guest gets weaker every time

You choose to live and not just hide.

So here's my hand. You're not alone.

This battle's yours. But not your own.

Millions fight the very same fight.

Millions see the very same light.

You can do this. Step by step.

No shame. No guilt. No regret.

Just one day clean. Then one day more.

And then you'll find the other shore.

You're not your habit. You're the one

Who rises after every fall.

And that, my friend, is how it's done.

You're human. That's enough. That's all.
