Hey i just thought today that I should talk about my addiction, and I thought I should write a forum so I came here.

Let me tell you I was struggling with p*rn addiction ( or maybe I am still struggling) because of too much stress of exams. So I did started to cut it off from my life cause it is messing up with my life, my relationship with my friends and family ( not directly but indirectly) I was having bad mood and feelings all the time which affects

My relationship with people, it did messed up with my motivation, my feelings and my energy levels, I did felt very tired always. So I decided to change it all.

I started to do no PMO. I did get into it because I did feel very stressed, anxious and bored always. So i did always go to this to escape these feelings that's how I get into it.

I started no *** because I don't want to be like that anymore cause I knew that this was not a right thing to deal with my problems and feelings.

It is almost 3 weeks now I didn't do that, I know I just started it.It was so much efforts to do this in beginning, mostly to handle my stress without going to p*rn it is still hard sometimes, I am still struggling with so many things and problem but I want to share what I did get from doing this. I feel that my energy levels are increased, I started to eat more and more and I felt less tired and energetic in gym, my body feels more healthier than before ( I don't know why but I feel my physical health did effected by p*rn ) I am feeling my relationship with my friends and family is improving, I am sharing my feelings and emotions with my closed ones, instead of just being packing them up inside me and struggling alone with my thoughts which helped me to be more happy and not getting back to p*rn.

At that time I felt that I am connecting with spirituality again which also helps me to be at peace sometimes.( It's not easy always, but I am trying)

I feel like my mood is in my control a bit, I am trying to control my brain. I am trying to do but it is not easy sometimes it feels so hard... But I want to change my old self, so I am still doing this. I will keep doing it until I will get out of it fully, I know it will take a lot of time as science say it takes 90 days for brain to heal and create new neuropathways, but this journey will be longer than this for me, so I am committed to do this. Let's see how it will help me change myself for better.

I did want to just talk about my benifits, but this forum become very long lol! If I feel it I will share about it later here, any loses, any struggles or benifits too I will share here later. Let's make it a safe space to share our strugles to deal with p*rn addiction.

This forum is just me sharing my feelings about my addiction.

@exuberantTalker9747 Thank you for sharing what is on your heart. While I cannot relate directly to your addiction, I appreciate the struggle of working through the challenge of addiction. It takes a lot of strength and willpower, and I wish you all the best on this journey.
