I’m a women, which makes this feel harder to talk about because tbh I don’t even know where to start to stop this, I was raised in a Christian household which have led me never to want to get help but atp I know I need it because I want to change for my mental wellbeing. I known people who have tried and tried and all they do is do other things to cover it up but the reality is that that’s not healthy so I want help and although this my first time talking about this I want to grow from this.

I totally understand how you'd feel when sharing yourself w others and feeling you'd have no one to talk to or fear people would judge you for who you're. Life is not easy so is sometimes the people you surround yourself w. You're completely safe here. What you're dealing w is not easy to open up to but you aren't alone. With time, trust, dedication, determination, and self control. We'd be able to overcome this problem for sure. Just a message away!

Male, female... porn and masterbation addiction is a real thing that affects FAR more than just those who will admit it.  Self pleasure is a drug that costs nothing only needing privacy or for some the thrill of being caught.  It's worse than a regular drug ... ruins relationships and marriages.  I speak from experience.

Currently 6 months completely clean of it but I still want to relapse alot.  Just have to redirect the mind.

Im always around for a chat.  I'd say or call but this site is made to be anonymous and there is safety in that.

Hi,

keep up the good fight. It will not be easy and is great that you are acknowledging that your have a problem. I believe that is the first step for us. I suffer from the same problem, altho' i believe mine is a little worse (thanks god this is not a competition, lol)

If you want to share more, please do.

But one thing that made more easier to fight this, was understand how porn and masturbation affects our body, mind, brain. For me reading "Your brain on porn" and "Wired for Intimacy" was very very good. If you are interested on how to fight this, read those book.

And, again, please, share more if you want and if you need. I will probably be here every single day starting next week. I'm here to help, if possible.
