@judgementkazzy69

I understand that you are feeling humiliated by your porn addiction.

Would it help to know that addiction is a result of a normal brain process? That our brains are designed to provide positive feedback on things that bring us a high, to motivate us to do it more. Because it is such a normal process, addiction is common - alcohol, drugs, porn, sugar, caffeine. And because it is a standard process which we all have, why should any one addiction be more shameful than any other?

I guess it is because of the current culture of shame around sex. But addiction doesn't care about culture, it's just a normal brain process, that's being too effective.

Possibly a more useful question for you is, can you use that sense of shame as motivation for change?

I can understand how humiliating it must be. I know how much you need someone to help you get yourself out from the clutches of porn but can't for it due to low self esteem or lack of courage. I know how deeply and badly it must be affecting and I'm here for you, to help you get better, to become someone you could look forward to! Just a message away!
