Weed addiction at 14
I’m 14, and I've really depressed, since I quit weed and I can’t really talk to my parents about it. Last week I was about 6 days without it when my parents told me that I need to stop smoking and I told them i was trying to quit, they laughed a little at me and said they didn't believe me, this just completely destroyed my mood and I felt terrible for the next few hours and the next day I ended up buying a cart and using the whole thing in like a few hours. My tolerance is so high from abusing it that I didn’t even get the euphoria just like the dumb feeling. I was in my room and I literally couldn't see, my whole vision was black even though my light was on and my eyes were open, I also had a blinding headache and I was just crying it was like that for like 10 minutes. Yesterday I told this story to someone on the teen crisis helpline and it helped at first but after we were done talking it felt nothing happened since it was just texting and I felt depressed again. I remembered the recommended this app so I downloaded it and I’m checking it out. I’m hoping it’ll be different

sorry you are going through that. sadly if your parents seem unfazed and laughing about your use they will be no help.
it must be easy to get where you are or you know a dealer as at your age unless you have some income who is paying for your addiction? this will be a gateway drug for you if you are doing more and more and not getting the feeling you want anymore. breaking away is hard but the path you seem headed toward will be worse.
