school does a horrible job
i am extremely *** rn last year i was addicted to huffing and i just recently found out how harmful that *** is. And the reason why i am so *** angry rn is because i just thought about it and school have never spoke to us about inhalent use which is worse than alot of drugs and they have never spoke to us about it. if only i new the harm i was inflicting on myself ive heard them talk about like drugs but never what i was doing man you dont understand how much this pisses me off knowing that thousands of other bored kids like i was are actively harming themselves not knowing how bad this *** is

While i can agree you may feel that inhalants should/ could be included ...a drug awareness class is sort of compacted to cover things quickly most teachers are not all knowing of drug use but are given a curriculum.
School is not responsible for your choices ... before doing anything people can look up the risks... at this time many people have mini computers in their hands yet do not look up information ? instead someone should have told them.
yes it is bad you found out after the fact but think of all the bored kids who try things taht end up with severe damage.... what have you done since educating yourself ? have you warned others or friends to NOT do that?
