I don't want it anymore
Hello. I'm asking for helpful advices on how to release myself from repeated patterns of looking unto sexual stuffs and videos because I am really really ashamed of it even though people say it's normal but because I'm religious it's a "sin" for me. I just wish I have never been exposed on such things especially I was young back then and I never knew how much it could absolutely mess up my mind because I tend to fantasize it. It's been years and I still lose everytime in this battle.

I think reading this book ( overcoming sex addiction) will help you a lot. ( it helps me to understand my addiction)
The book contains 2 parts
1st part : explain sex addiction and some things related to it

The best thing to quit a bad habit is to replace it with good one. A course called (tamed course) hepled me to do this.

It is very helpful to have someone or group to support you.
The last thing I want to tell you is that the recovery journey maybe hard and difficult but it deserves your efforts.
You will face hard and good times. You may relapse several times but you should to continue and don't stop seeking for recovery
Hey I found that keeping my mind busy helped with my addiction. If you think about your addiction as a bad habits well it's easier to get rid of a bad habit by retaining good ones. I filled my schedule so I won't have much free time to let my mind wander off, even when it did and I felt this intense need to watch it I try to surround myself with people so even if I want to I can't. You're not alone I empathize with you in every word you said I hope you find my words helpful and if you need someone to talk to I'm here
