Masturbation addiction, help me please
Hi! I'm 18 year old guy from Europe. I ve been doing this since I was very young, when I found out that it can be interesting playing with the thing. But it has become something different than usual. I masturbate by rubbing my penis of bed, plus I dont need any porn to masturbate, just things in my head. Now I masturbate a lot, like 3 times a day is minimum. Reason I masturbate was, at first, for fun I can say, they stress releaf, before facing problem, and now it increased to addicition. Reason I want to quit is that i suffer from time to time of some side effects(which I was reading about on net).like strong headaches, lower-back pain, indifference for anything(from time to time), often mood change, weight problem, cant sleep withouth masturbating before sometimes,agrresive with no reason, more bad energy eye floaters, blured vision, indifference about being in relationship(because everything attractive I can see and think about, I can mastrbate with, and it is enough for me in my mind). I tried few times to stop but I dont have that strong character to stop. It lasted most 3 days(bearly). Main problem in this is that I only need bed I can lay on, and minute most in some cases to finish, so even if I live in house with 3 other members and per example everyone is present it doesnt help, and I can still masturbate like 3 times in less than 45 mins .This is very important period in my life, I m not satisfied with me and my life, and I need to study hard so I can go to university in few months, and I have lack of motivation and contentration, which, I think, comes from this problem Please help! Thank you in advance.
P.S. Sorry for my bad english, I dont really have many occasions to talk in english here.

Hey there! Please don't apologise for your English; I think language is just a way to communicate (among other things XD), but as long as someone else can understand, it should be fine :)
Unfortunately, I'm not very experienced with this issue, but I've found some links that may help you -- one, two, and three.
I know recovering from an addiction is never easy, but I'm glad you took the first step and managed to reach out for help! That's incredibly brave of you, so thank you :) All the best, and I hope you get over your addiction soon!
I'm in need of support too.

Hi there! :) Awesome for seeking help! I made a post to the Addiction Thread you are in, that you may find of great interest to you, and will hopefully help you-a lot! Give it a read, and let me know what you think!
@whatever2398
Hi there! Great to see you seeking support! I do have a recommendation-it's a medical/physiological one.
SSRI's (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) or SNRI's (Serotonin Norepenephrine Reuptake Inhibitors)
These are a class of antidepressants with the same common side effect that EVERYBODY goes on about- Sexual Numbness, and a Markedly decreased Libido (Sex Drive) This "side effect" will actually be beneficial in your case! An increase in serotonin helps those pesky compulsions head out the door!
To explain further: It's possible you have a "Dopamine/Serotonin Dysregulation" in your neural pathways. This "Dopmaine" is a neurotransmitter, that is involved in:
-Addiction. -Pleasure and Reward. -Motivation. -Aggression. -Drive. -Sex/ Libido. -Risk Taking. -Impulse Control. -Mood. -Cognition and Learning. -Obsessive Behaviour and Thoughts.
And, much much more. A lot of people who are "sex addicts" or "compulsive masturbators" find HUGE relief from a high end dose of SSRI's, or SNRI's. Therapy to help in "behaviour modification and replacement" and Professional Clinical Support-available at your fingertips at 7 Cups even, adjunct to these wonderfully safe, non addictive and highly effective medications, can put you in full REMISSION! These medications are the "gold standard" for theses types of addictive, obsessive behaviours (hence why they are used in OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) etc.
The "Disinterest in Sex" "Low Libido" and "Difficulty Climaxing" are notorious for these classes of Medications. But if you are wanting an end to this, and it's interfering in your life and you are serious about seeking help- Talk to your Doctor about what I've discussed here, tell them it's coming from a Therapist, and they will be more than likely to give you a medication in this class, that can help you- and help you tremendously!
I hope that I've helped you in some way, I'm a 7 Cups Therapist with a background in Medicine and Pharmachology, so I hope you find relief and solace that there IS hope for you, in breaking this habit and achieving full remission from this compulsion that is troubling your life at the moment. If you are ever in need or are wanting Therapist in tandem with the medicine, you know where to find me :)
Let me know your thoughts on all this!

I also have an addiction problem with maturbation and porn. I live separate from my husband and I only see him every second weekend. We have sex on a Saturday. So sex only twice a month. Then I feel sexually frustrated and masturbate to relieve myself. I've overcome porn addiction now for 2 weeks now and I don't want to watch it because I got terrible nightmares!
@J9SA

i dont know what to do to stop it
