I just got diagnosed with ADHD not that long ago. What are some things that help you with your day-to-day life, such as apps and etc?

Personally, i found a game called flow free (a simple puzzle game) and whenever i am feeling distracted or just need a minute, i play the game for a bit. Most everyone i know knows that this is what i do and if i’m in a conversation while playing it my go to sentence is “I am listening to you, i just never look like i am” and then repeat back of comment on what they are saying. That are a lot of lil coping mechanisms. It also depends on what type of ADHD you have 🤷‍♀️

I'm doing a free trial of Inflow, which is an app made especially for ADHD. You take a quiz that leads to a personalized experience, with modules that help with your most difficult symptoms. For example, I'm learning more about my rejection sensitivity dysphoria and how to manage it. I'm also using the app Headspace Care, which has mental health coaching, therapy, and a large library of self-care resources. Your insurance might pay for it. Mental health coaching helps me focus on one thing to try each week to manage my symptoms.
