Human Interaction
What’s the meaning of human relationships? Why do we crave them? What’s there to be gained? If it is to be loved, to be valued, to be respected, isn’t that selfish? It should be to love, to value, to care about and show affection towards others, and maybe we’ll get something back in return. But is getting something back necessary? Specifically for me? I don’t know. I’ve shown affection towards people without expecting anything (or much) in return, and I have been selfish in expecting too much. Neither of the approaches have worked for me. If “worked” means building sustainable, long-term relationships, that is.
Right now, I’m a bit lonely. Actually, a “bit” is an understatement. I’m really craving some human interaction. Like I’ve reached out to multiple people without receiving any responses. And it sucks. I don’t understand how everyone else does it. Like how do they even manage to have a social circle? I can barely manage a conversation. And I desperately want to. I want to love. I want to talk. I want to share things. I want to be close to someone. Is that too much to ask?

Hi, I'm Kiara! <3
Share things with us; we're here to listen and love you and give you virtual hugs <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 I know, this is a great community, but it's almost impossible to build a long term connection with a listener. At least in my experience, it's been like that.
Same with me. Listeners go silent. It’s easier in the forums <3
Humans were created with the need of human interactions, it's such a core need that without it people could die, kids won't grow, even if it's a bad interaction you would still need it if it's available, you were created to need it unless you don't, and honstly i still haven't found a solution. If i let my needs out they feel too much and no one received them well, if i hide them and go with the flow of the other person i end up avoiding them and unable to connect anymore, how much i wanted to be normal, i see people fighting every day and still get back h together and love each other and keeping a family, sometimes i feel the problem is that i don't like the desires i have, if let them out i do it in a bad manner, if i hide them i treat them like sin, and the other person ends up having a one sided relationship, even tho i was there, but i could never balance from give and take, and i also don't wait long enough to accept or even test, it's always one sided, i let it all out then run away even before i see how the other person will react, i don't communicate nor commit, but everything once communicated, it feels lighter, it feels doable, and is better, relationships are supposed to be were you always return to, it better to try and intend a relationship, make your self clear to them, your needs and your swings if you felt you were safe with this person, try to talk, fight and wait, tell that you have a tendency to run, tell tham that things get so big and unresolvable in your head, tell them to talk you out, and talk it out, maybe all thish time you just never felt safe, your feelings matter, tell them that you don't feel safe, will they give it back at you? Will they use your weakness against you? This is when you leave. But if you found them respecting you? What if you found someone that resonates with you, what if you found someone that feels safe? That accepts and doesn't mean harm, a relationship is a commitment, a give and take a safe place that is built by two, you can't do it alone, fights are normal, differences are normal, but when you fight? Do they mean to inflect harm? Do you mean to harm? Or are you trying to resolve? Find a middle ground, they say silent treatment is the most manipulative method, why? Cuz with communication you can move forward, or back, you can move in general, but silence? You're stuck, you cannot connect unless you do what they want, you can't move so don't accept it, and also don't do it, communication is respect to the other,
