I got lectured at work for doing my job and not being perfect
I'm really upset and I did my best but I work at a doggy daycare and I was just trying to focus on the job at hand but this *** dog that they refuse to kick out for some reason went and *** *** up for us and I couldn't hear what my instructions were because that's how loud it got. I was told to pay attention better and I tried standing up for myself but now I'm being blamed for not understanding what the heck they were trying to say. I don't blame anyone really. I suppose I could be more assertive or something but this place has issues and I've never had a job for longer than two years. I hate the world man. You do your best to get it done top to bottom and just because you're not perfect, you get *** for it and then people start pointing fingers. Please. I need encouragement. I apologized to my coworker for what happened and she seems to get it was the noise level but me and my supervisor just kinda had a "*** day huh?" conversation. I found it hard to apologize to the supervisor because I don't believe paying attention was the problem. It's the way things are managed for the sake of money despite obvious red flags.

I'm sorry you were misunderstood but glad you spoke up for yourself, that's what counts 💜
this is not good :/ you shouldnt be the only one to blame. how things are managed should be done differently and if they were giving you crucial instructions they should have made you go to a quieter place first, away from everything else. though maybe you told them or made them repeat what they say when you couldnt hear them... enough time will go buy and you can look back at this again. strategize and keep strategizing to avoid misunderstandings like that. you dont have to be a boss or someone aggressive. just communicate more.
It's tough because with dogs, everything is spontaneous other than maintenance of equipment and schedules for feeding. For everyone it is difficult and I wish the place wasn't filled with so many dogs all the time but money talks as usual. I'm so paranoid that they are going to get me fired now...
