Wishy-washy or indecisiveness

So, I was gonna hang out with a friend, but ended up cancelling cause I've been feeling sick with a sore throat and congestion. Suddenly, I felt a little bit better after eating and drinking some water, and then I wanted to un-cancel, but decided not to go through with it, cause I thought for a bit and realized how I struggle to stay with decisions. I know indecisiveness or like choice paralysis is an ADHD thing sometimes

I have a habit of blaming a lotta things on ADHD, I know it's a problem, but something I'm working on, I'm really just wondering if anyone else has similar experiences?

@calmLunch9427

yes, others experience it as well.

I feel many overthink and second guess invitations.  We may want to change our mind and go but feel it is awkward or people will question our reason for declining etc.

I feel this happens regardless of if they have a condition like ADHD or anything else.

Honestly, it could be anxiety as well. But I'm glad I didn't decide to go through with uncancelling, it did get a bit worse, I'd have felt bad if I ended up getting them sick just cause I wanted to get outta the house

It's not like I won't have other opportunities to hang out with this person or other people that getting sick may stop me from seeing, just gotta work on getting better for now
