Transition Support Prompt #7: What were your favorite subjects in high school? How do you plan to continue pursuing these interests in college?
Hello Teens & ATLs, I hope you are all being easy on yourself this week.
Last week we discussed: If you can forgive yourself for one thing, what would it be? Thank you to all who participated and shared their thoughts for discussion. I enjoyed them. I hope you all did too. If you didn't share yours, please share them here and I look forward to reading and discussing them with you.
This week's prompt: What were your favorite subjects in high school? How do you plan to continue pursuing these interests in college?
This week I want us to reflect and explore our favorite subjects in school and our plans to pursue them in college too. I look forward to listening to all your experiences and emotions. Let's get started and all thoughts are welcomed!
Also, you can request a Transitioning Mentor to support and guide you as well!

I really want to pursue animation and art, but im worried about becoming a "starving artist"
@TinyLittleMouse It sounds like pursuing your passion for animation and art is important to you, yet the concern about financial stability understandably causes worry. What draws you most to working in that creative field? Please know we are all here with you to support.
@ASilentObserver I've been really into art since I was little, and when I learned to animate on Flipaclip, it's made me happier than anything else really. It's like bringing my characters and drawings to life because I can animate them to move and talk and sing. My characters are super important to me, I've been working on them since like third grade lol, my dream is to create a popular series or make a movie out of them.
