Covid Anxiety Help
The people I was with kept telling me repeatedly, that we are fine and you have to be somewhat closer to people to catch it but every time I go on forums people are saying that all you have to do is pass by someone. I really don't want to get this again and roll the dice and potentially get long covid. Especially cause I live by myself. So far it has been two days since we went to the busy bar and we all feel fine. We did go to a walkthrough restaurant yesterday with a big line and scared that I got it there as well. I really hope I make it through without catching it. Any advice to put me at ease would be most appreciated.
@johnsticks
so a point you said you did not want to get again .... so i assume you had it once?
That should provide you with some immunity ......and any second time should be mild.
unless you have other significant risk factors or compromised immune system it is not likely just passing someone unless they coughed on you etc....... i know of several people whom had covid around others that NEVER caught it even with being exposed to person for hours......
Since this began i have seen people whom i thought IF they get it they will be bad ... and they breezed through and others whom looked healthy have issues ....... they have never studied WHY but i imagine living in fear as your post sounds is exhausting
