Let's All Choose One Thing to do Today
I've been doing some reading and listening to some speakers about making changes. We all want change to happen immediately. But, that's unrealistic. Think about losing weight. While those of us with extra pounds would like to wake up the next day thinner and healthier, we know that it's not going to happen. We have to start by making little, tiny changes, because all of those tiny changes add up eventually. We start with substituting a glass of soda for a glass of water. If we go out to eat we don't have french fries and instead get a side salad. Little steps that make a difference.
So, what can we all choose to do today when our anxiety starts acting up. How can we make ourselves feel a tiny bit better in the moment?
Today, when I experience a trigger for my anxiety, I am going to think about something else for at least 30 seconds. I will think about...puppies. lol And if I'm able to pull up a video about puppies, I will do that, too.
What can you do today to shift your focus away from anxiety for a few moments to give yourself some rest?

I'm going to see down this evening and put on my favourite Christmas film, Sister Act 🥰 and have a nice cuppa and some sweet treats 💚
