Resilience
I have been doing really well with my anxiety. REALLY well. I've been proud of myself. Therapy is going well, I'm understanding why I react to things a certain way and how I can make changes.
But then - BAM - a problem pops up in life that has just knocked the wind right out of me. It's nothing catastrophic. It's just regular life where things break down and you have to fix them. You know - your washing machine breaks down. Your car breaks down. That sort of thing.
This annoying but typical problem just grabbed onto my anxiety and won't let me go. Even though we've got a resolution, we've figured out a plan of action, etc. - it's not letting go. My body still feels it.
Why? I can't figure it out. It's so stressful. It would be one thing if there was no resolution, but there is a resolution. Things are okay. And yet, I'm holding on to this.

I understand how you feel. I wake up, analyze what I have to do for the day and make sure I get it all done as soon as possible. And if something comes up that interrupts it then yeah my anxiety goes up too just like you said something breaks. somebody needs a favor. Anything that takes me out of my routine of simpleness kills me.
