Vent: Anxiety Since Childhood
So I just really want to talk about this because it's so frustrating, cause I don't understand it. Basically, so there are some nights when my fans' noise makes me think that the security system could be going off even though it's not, and then I imagine worst-case scenarios and plan out what I'd do, and the only way to get it to stop is to turn on my TV or white noise and stuff. Also, when I was a younger I had a big fear that the second I turned 18 I would be homeless unless I could pick a career right that day but never could so it just made me cry and feel super sad and stuff for days sometimes, and I went to a councilor around that time and they even asked me at one point why I kept mentioning being scared of being homeless. And like around that time, I wrote journal entries anytime I felt really bad, and I mentioned homelessness basically every time I mentioned my fear of adulthood in them, along with just being miserable and losing all my interests and personality. Anyway, yeah, I'm not scared of that specifically anymore, but I still hate aging, and talking about career or whatever still makes me the same level of anxious. Also, I don't drive because it scares me too much, but I do have a license. I also can't listen to the news cause it makes me feel super hopeless and stuff so I also don't use most social media anymore and any I do I filter to avoid it cause of how bad it got, so yeah but it's not like i'm thinking about everything that could go wrong with stuff it's specific stuff like i mentioned that makes me anxious, and I think trying to figure out why I feel this way all the time is making me anxious too because I don't know, anyway I just wanted to talk about all of that and like see if anyone related or anything. After all, I don't know exactly why I feel that way and have for so long.

I'm sorry you are struggling.
When we see everything that goes on in the world, it can be pressurising and troubling and hard to escape.
I encourage you not to listen to it or watch the news.
Watch something that makes you happy.
And when you are feeling heightened or overwhelmed , listening to music can help drown out the negativity.
Sending you my best wishes 💜 💕
