You Are Doing More Than You Think
If you are struggling with anxiety or panic right now — especially if you don’t have access to professional help yet — I just want to sit with you for a moment and say this.
Panic can be incredibly confusing and frightening, especially when you don’t understand what is happening to you. Many people continue studying, working, or managing daily life while quietly feeling terrified inside, wondering why their own mind feels unsafe.
Most people don’t realize how exhausting untreated panic can be. It’s not just anxiety — it’s living with a brain that repeatedly tells you something is wrong, and still choosing to continue with ordinary responsibilities.
If that is your reality right now, please give yourself more credit. You may not feel strong, but continuing despite fear is a form of strength.
If support isn’t available to you yet, please remember this: you are protecting yourself in the best ways you currently know how until better support becomes possible.
Reaching out to safe spaces, talking to someone who will listen, resting when you can, learning about what you’re experiencing, or simply choosing to stay through another difficult moment — all of these are ways of caring for yourself.
And when support does become available, you are allowed to take it. Seeking help is not giving up; it is an act of protecting yourself.
You are not broken for feeling afraid. Your life is worth care, patience, and gentleness — even if that care begins with very small steps.

This is a great observation and validation of the hidden panic that some are living with. Of how great an achievement it is to present a relatively normal life while carrying fear.
I see a huge stigma associated with fear, which is so unhelpful when it's something that we are all dealing with. I hope we can normalise fear and the teaching of skills to manage it. Its said that true courage isn't being fearless but facing fear well.
