alone :^
ive noticed i just want to be alone more and more. i keep avoiding friends and not talking and even on cups half my time here is just lurking even when i want to talk. i like having friends dont want to loose them too but i feel like i need to be alone? i dont know everythings just loud and slow and boring and repetitive. just hate myself more and more. if i isolate myself ill dissapear n i know thats bad but i want that too.
@Angiewaa
Hey, I hear you. Really, I do. What you’re describing makes so much sense—sometimes the world just feels too much, too loud, too slow, too empty, all at once. Wanting to be alone doesn't make you broken. It can be a way your mind is trying to cope, to quiet the noise or protect itself. But I know that kind of isolation can also start to feel like a slow fade—and that’s a painful place to be.
You’re not alone in this, even if it feels like it right now. So many of us go through these quiet battles where we crave connection and distance all at once. Lurking, not knowing how to jump in, feeling distant from people we love—those are signs of exhaustion, not weakness. And the self-hate you mention... it lies. I know it feels true sometimes, but it isn’t. You’re still here. You’re still trying. That matters more than you realize.
Please don’t disappear. Even if you pull back a bit to breathe, you don’t have to vanish. You deserve support, even when you don’t feel like you do. Especially then.
You're not a burden. You're not too much. You're just tired—and that’s okay.
@Angiewaa I'm 100% feeling this atm.
I feel you.
I'm SO there, too. Dude... One of my closest friends is someone on 7Cups... And I often take forever responding to that penpal chat too. Not because I don't want to talk to my dear friend, but because my mind is absolutely overwhelmed and exhausted by life. I have no bandwidth for anything anymore sometimes... I feel it. You're not alone, and you are loved and wanted <3
@Angiewaa Hey, thank you for sharing all of that. I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way — it sounds exhausting and heavy, and I can only imagine how much you’re carrying. Wanting to be alone, even from people you care about, doesn’t make you a bad friend. Sometimes it’s just a way of trying to find some quiet when everything inside feels too loud. You don’t have to go through this alone though — I’m here if you ever feel like talking, even if it’s just sitting together in silence. You matter, even when it doesn’t feel like it."
