I am sorry for your loss.

Even with a bad situation you will feel loss at a chance to speak up and get closure.

My parent was estranged and mentally abusive.  They always had something snotty to say about my choices etc When they passed,  I thought all that anger and questions of why would end it never did.   Did hear from siblings she told them they should all be more like me.  played us all against each other destroyed relationships.

I wish I could have had one last discussion but I  remember  each time before it did not go well so i doubt I would not get answers.

I hope you can talk through this with someone, i was able to.

Thank you, for sharing your experience. Whew… I haven’t spoken to him in almost 10 years. All my life, I thought I’d be happy that this Earth was rid of him, but it turns out to be more emotional than that.

I choose not to go to the hospital. I respected my mother and siblings desire to see him.

We’ve managed to support each other, through this.

One thing I wasn’t prepared for, is STILL being afraid. I was scared he could find me; through his spirit. I know that’s Ludacris in reality. It sucks that person still has so much power; even after all of my therapy and healing.
