Acceptance for managing anxiety
As someone who has struggled with anxiety I would like to speak on the power of acceptance.
Acceptance is not fighting, it is letting anxiety flow right through you without reaction.
For some of us, the original cause of our anxiety is no longer the problem but the symptoms that begin to arise, and just like a broken bone our nerves are ‘injured’ in a way. If we can allow our nerves to heal by not running away or fighting them but just accepting them they will heal.
I agree. The trauma that the body holds on to is real. Yes - don't fight or run away. But do take care. I've been taking the time to meditate upon the areas of my body that are still in pain from my previous period of stress and anxiety. And they, like my anxiety, have been getting better!
@kindPond Thank you for sharing your insights on dealing with anxiety through acceptance. It's a powerful reminder that sometimes healing involves allowing ourselves to experience and accept our feelings, rather than fighting them.
@kindPond I agree ❤ with most mental health problems we must learn to live alongside them. Rather than wait for it to heal and go away ❤
