Does anyone have any advice for how to handle anxiety during an exam? I get really shakey and nauseous and feel trapped since you can’t really get up during exams. Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this, it really affects the way I do in exams and I can’t afford the poor grades

@rose2714

How to deal with anxiety during an exam?
To help you stay calm and confident right before and during the test, do relaxation techniques. These include deep breathing, tensing then relaxing your muscles one at a time, or closing your eyes and imagining a positive outcome. Practice these methods daily so they feel like a habit when test day comes. Good Luck!

If you breath slowly and breath out extra long it forces your body to calm down. Also having a vision of a ‘happy place’ helps. I liked to wear clothes that made me feel good - could be something that I thought made me look prettier or something comfy or something with sentimental value. Good luck studying! Have to put in the hard work too!
