Anxiety Check-in ~ September✨💚
💚Hi everyone! I'm back as a room supporter for anxiety sub-community. I'm super excited to be back! If anyone has suggestions or criticism regarding the community, my PM is always open!
Now, getting back to our check in after a while, here we go! (You can answer any or all of them, or just say hi!)
( 1= not anxious at all, 10= extremely anxious)
2. What anxious thoughts or worries are contributing to your anxiety at the moment?
3. Are there any specific situations or triggers that are making you feel anxious right now?
4. What can you do right now to help alleviate your anxiety?
5. Have you reached out to anyone for support today? If so, how did it go?
6. Is there any positive affirmation or mantra you can remind yourself of when feeling anxious?
bonus question! 7. What are three things you are grateful for?

Exams and tests and assignments
I can calm myself down by practicing breathing exercises. Journaling my thoughts down and praying about whatever I am going through also helps alleviate anxiety.
Yes, it was good. I felt much better.
Nothing is impossible.
I am grateful for being alive, for the food I am provided with, for the educational opportunities I have.
No.

So I have a class where the professor has a "go-go-go" type of personality and tends to rush activities/lectures. I don't really do well under pressure, so I tend to get anxious (and can feel when others are anxious) before arriving to class because I know what to expect now.
The amount of homework I have on my plate
I had a whole meltdown when I talked to my parents about this class, how "dream jobs" are a lie, my plan to change careers in the future. Because the classes I'm taking rn are for preparing me to work in the animation industry where hustle culture is scaled up by 100.
Good enough mantra and take it step by step mantra
I'm grateful for my friends who understand my fears/struggles, support from family, myself for having determination to even trying to achieve my "dream job"
