Anxiety
I’d always watch shows and they’d show panic attacks or anxiety attacks. I always judged the way they portrayed anxiety. Normally my panic attacks would just consist of the feeling of impending doom. But now… my anxiety feels different. I get this feeling in my chest. Its like butterflies or something. Its feels like a floating feeing it is hard to explain. It isnt necessarily painful it just feels extremely uncomfortable. Then I get the paranoia that I can no longer breathe. Does anyone else get this?
@Clyde911 I can relate to your feelings about how panic attacks and anxiety attacks are often portrayed in shows—they can really miss the mark. The feelings you describe, like the butterflies in your chest and the sense of floating, can be really uncomfortable, and it's understandable that they would lead to paranoia about breathing. I think many people have different experiences with anxiety, and it's important to acknowledge those variations. You're not alone in this ❤️
