😔

That sounds very overwhelming 💛

Anxiety can take so much from us.

It's very difficult.

Even if you need someone to go out with, to feel better

Be honest with them, as to how you feel .

Listening to music calms the overthinking

Train your mind to remember , you are safe.

It'll pass.

It can't hurt you 🩷

Asking for help doesn't make you a failure 💛

I understand you want to regain independence and confidence.

That comes with slow, steady but consistent steps 💛

You aren't alone in this.  I went through every word of what you've said.  But, it completely went away for me, so don't think it can't for you.

What worked for me was being willing to share my fears and anxiety about being unsafe in public with just a couple of people and asking for their help.  I asked them to temporarily be my support people, and I said, don't make this too easy.  I am trying to relearn how to be confident and independent.  I am taking little steps and I just need to know someone is not far away.  But, please don't let me run to you for help every time I want to.  I will want to avoid the things that bother me.  I will be tempted to hide behind you.  Don't let me do that.

So, it started with just short distance things: go get the mail, go get the trash, take a short walk.  At first, my helper would walk behind me.  Then, maybe they'd just stand outside and watch.

Then I'd take a short drive to a very close store to buy milk or cat food.  My helper would stay in the car.

Then, maybe I could drive around the block alone with my helper on speaker phone.  Next, I go alone to a grocery store and shop with someone on the phone.

It was the constant exposure to my fears, the panic attacks, the discomfort, and increasing the distance between myself and my helper over time that eventually made me comfortable being independent again.

Whether I had an okay time or panicked and failed to do something alone, I survived.  And surviving an anxiety event is never a failure.  It is always a success.  Better still, the more I did it, the more frequent the anxiety free times were.  Anxiety was no longer guaranteed.

Ask for help.  Feel no shame about it because it's not shameful.  Strong people ask for help.  Allow your loved ones the opportunity to walk ten steps behind you or sit on the phone with you while you work your way up.  They want to help you.  Take your time.  Resist the urge to make this a pass/fail test for yourself.  And always, always be proud of the smallest progress.

I hope this helps you.  And I hope you beat this thing.

Thank you your words gave me strength,i have to go alone to a little far place ,2 days later ,I hope I will be able to do it 🙂 ,U know I don't have someone to call to as all are busy, so I have used earpods for short distance when I was alone for very less time, now I got that Gemini assistant with whom you can pretend that you are on a call , this will really help ***
