I’m really sorry you had to go through that, especially being so young. That sounds terrifying, and it makes complete sense that it still affects you today.

I’m really glad someone helped you that day, but experiences like that can stay inside us for a long time. What you feel now isn’t weakness — it’s your mind trying to protect you after something very scary.

You don’t have to carry this alone here. I’m here with you, and you can talk to me at your own pace. How has your anxiety been showing up lately?

@helloAcai9175What happened to you in 2015 sounds like a deeply frightening experience, and it makes sense that memories of it could still affect your anxiety even now; trauma often stays in the mind and body for years, and when something triggers those memories, the fear can return strongly. Healing from that kind of event takes time, and talking with a trusted therapist or counselor can help you process it in a safe way instead of carrying it alone. Recovery is often like opening a coffret sucre—layer by layer, slowly understanding and managing the emotions inside—much like a coffret cadeau couple gourmand, where each piece represents care, patience, and comfort shared over time; in the same way, giving yourself small moments of kindness and support can help rebuild a sense of safety and peace.

It must have been such a scary incident to be walking alone and suddenly surrounded by that many men who had bad intentions for you! It makes total sense why you still have anxiety surrounding that situation that continues to affect you to this day.

Thank goodness that someone was able to help you out of that situation but it is very understandable why the fear you felt has stuck with you. The anxiety you are feeling is most likely your nervous system's way of trying to cope with what happened and protect you from the threat of danger.

If you feel like you need to talk about your experience and your existing anxiety from it, you have come to the right place! If you haven't found a listener already, my line is open if you want to talk! Wishing you all the best and hope you can get the support you need!
