I get you. It is a constant daily battle sometimes. I too wonder if I will ever be free of it. It is so sad to read of your struggle. You are not alone. I hope today a little moment of peace finds you.
@wilf11111 Hey there, I'm tremendously sorry to hear how much anxiety and worry has caused you suffering over these years. Having anxiety too, I very much empathise with how you are feeling. It sounds like you have tried many things, and put in great effort to find ways to cope with anxiety, but despite these efforts you are still very much suffering. I am so very sorry you are having to go through this. It must be exhausting for you :(.
You say you have seen counsellors, practiced mindfulness and meditation, this is really good of you, but I'm sorry you've found that anxiety still persists despite this. Are your able to say what triggers your anxiety? Also other than mindulness and meditation, what is your support network like? Having anxiety can be really isolating, but having someone to talk to can take the edge off sometimes, or at least help to organise thoughts so they are less 'tornado like'.
I know you are struggling a lot, but there are ways through anxiety or at least ways to manage the condition. You are not alone in this, and we at 7cups are here to support you if you need a listening ear/person to talk to. Everyone deserves a right to a happy life, especially you.
Lastly, how would you feel about maybe approaching a doctor about how you are feeling? It may be that they could offer your advice or signpost you to services that could help you through this dark time that you are having to navigate.
Wishing you all the best,
Oscar
