Hello I was observing sth. I'll give just a example with a situation that yesterday happened. So I was forced doing an exercise on paper with a person and that person was rlly extroverted so she talked rlly much and rlly open. And then when we both had no ideas anymore she asked me if somethings comes up in my mind and I said "no" so she said "well ur not even saying sth you just sitting there you better come with some ideas!" And I was like some sort of shocked because she said it SOO MEAN. It was obviously just a joke but some reason it triggered me rlly much and i can't handle with those situations because it was still mean. I'm thinking that I'm hyper sensitive and that's not good . I wanna be hyper sensitive it's not perceived as "cool" . But i want to be cool. But I don't have any friends mabey I'm just not used to mean sentences. I'd appreciate help smmm

@communicativeApple9560 You're not alone feeling as you do!  I'd feel quite offended, too, if she'd said that to me.  Even said in a fun, joking way it seems a bit condescending.  I can never think of a witty answer to anything like that, at least not at the time.  I tend to keep thinking about it, too, like trying to figure why someone would say something like that to someone they didn't know well.  Her bad, not yours :)

@communicativeApple9560 Hey Apple,

I understand what you mean. I am soory to hear you are struggling with social anxiety and communication. As someone with social anxiety, I know interacting with people can be really difficult. And yes, it's okay to feel the way you did. However, as you said, it can start impacting our lives too much and that's not good. You can try taking therapy, it really helps! You can also try to expose yourself to social situations. I know, initially, it can be very uncomfortable, but, trust me, it's for the good. However, it's always good to have someone like a therapist to guide you through it.
