Changes
I've changed my psychiatrist who's changing my medicines and advising a new therapist. I feel anxious about all these changes. My first therapy session is next week and I'm already worrying how it will go. I have benefitted from therapy before even though I just took a few sessions here and there. I didn't find a therapist right enough to continue with. I hope I recover from this ailment through these new changes.
Hey @Creamyyy may 2023 bring only helpful changes!
@hopefulPond6108 Thanks for the good wishes. I didn't get the joke.
@Creamyyy lol yeah, the original punchline is “Just one, but the lightbulb has to really want to change.” I guess my “joke” was to un-jokify the joke.
You will. Just give it some time. I’ve been through it and am currently going through it. ❤️
Changes also terrify me. My medication for my anxiety has suddenly stopped working after years of being on it now I need to find a new method and change it and get help. I’m anxious about the side effects changing it will cause and the possibility of it getting worse. But, it’s something I must face even though it is scary. Sometimes changes are for the best even though the thoughts of them are scary.
Hi Kstep2. I wen through that about 6 years ago with my anti depressants. We did end up changing them And found one that worked. There are soooo many different options out there which is a refreshing thought. I am currently going through the same crap as 6 years ago. Anxiety and depression. It started about a month ago. I’m trying my best to ride it out. I have been taking some Clonazepam in the morning and at night to take the edge off. They will get everything figured out just give it some time. Believe me. I know it sucks but you’ll get through it.
