Doubting my decisions
Feeling extremely anxious and overwhelmed the last few weeks. I've made the decision to go back to school for a couple classes this upcoming semester and unfortunately will receive no aid at all. I'm going to do whatever I can to pay for it as fast as possible, but the financial strain is weighing very heavily right now. A part of me wants to just back out and proceed like normal. Another part is saying stick it out and do whatever it takes. I do very much want out of my current career, but this is all feeling like a lot. Which also makes me a bit sad because this career I'm trying to chase seems like such a good option
Hi @nicePal3956.
You seem unsteady about this new career your looking into taking.. it's ok.. we know your going to decide what career path you desire..
I imagine the fear of failure might be what's making you feel overwhelmed.
Good luck, we're all trusting in you to make the appropriate decision. 🌟
I think it's normal to be worried. Financial concerns, whether it's worth the time, how to balance it all with regular responsibilities and so forth.
However you're also thinking about your future, what ideally life will be like if you transition and feel fulfilled so that's not a bad thing.
Yes it's scary and unknown but you're helping yourself and taking a step forwards. I applaud your bravery and wish you all the best with it :)

It all seems hard in the beginning, but when we come thru it, we will look back and appreciate the decisions we made when we stick with something.
fear and worry about what if is a constant for many but regret of "I wish I had stuck with it " imo is worse than the fear.
