i have been a very successful student in middle school and my parent's loved me like that. after i got into hs, my grades started to drop and this affected me so badly that I started to stress about exams every day and night and crying my eyes out, yet my family started to act careless towards me because they think I'm a failure after seeing how bad my grades started to drop. as a person who has a mother who doesn't believe depression, s*icidal thoughts or other stuff, I'm not sure how i can live like this.
also I'm new to this app, please do tell me if I'm doing or did something wrong!! thank you for reading!!

@Denniah nice to hear from you and welcome to 7 cups.
Your story sounds interesting. Sorry to hear what you been through. How are things since then? You feeling ok?
Do you think talking to someone about this can help? I know this sounds like it’s playing on your mind but wonder if you can get the help for this.
Focusing on you and your feelings might be good start. You might know where this all began? Do you know when it started or what changed? Was you feeling stressed about something or was the work more difficult to do or manage?
That can be your starting point seeing what was the point where you felt stressed with your grades going down. Maybe something changed which may of caught you out or something.
Would don’t you have a think. I do think talking to someone will help and get your worries off your chest. Sure your be back to yourself as nothing goes perfect. Like you said.
Also sorry that your family not supportive. I know you can’t change them but you can change how you feel. Again talking to someone might help and can give you advice on what to do.
Not many families arnt always aware of mental health but it’s educating them. A counsellor could help start that and I know they want best for you but it’s not your fault and need to support you.
Hope that helps
