Health Anxiety
I suffer just about every day with this. It is ruining my life. I am already on meds and currently looking to get back into therapy, but I can’t take this anymore. Don’t know where or how this all started. Does anyone else suffer with this? What do you do to help it? Thank you

Hi,
Anxiety almost ruined my life but I got on meds and into therapy, and soon realized that anxiety is controllable. Anxiety is caused by a lot of issues in our minds that we seek answers for and we get into a manic state so its hard to process the thoughts. Ive been in therapy for 4 years now, and I've learned ways to cope with tje racing thoughts and manic behavior. The key is to try to stay grounded in logical so you cab figure out reality from the odd perceptions that seep in at times.

You can do this! I believe in you. I know that it can be hard, but I promise things get better.
Hello I also suffer with health anxiety. Most of the health issues are “real” although I know this anxiety will cause other symptoms to come about. Most people don’t understand this type of anxiety. I have even had a doctor tell me I was a hypochondriac. That was real upsetting. I too have no idea how to fix this or where it came from. I am in meds, saw a therapist, go to acupuncture and it only helps for a bit. I don’t know how much more I can take with this. So tired of being unhappy most of the time.
I am right there with you. I've been suffering from anxiety and depression for over 30 years. Sometimes it's manageable and other times it's just a juggernaut. We just have to keep telling ourselves that it will eventually pass. It does not define us. I know it's easier said than done but it's a start. And therapy is an amazing outlet. Meds and therapy are like peanut butter and jelly. You can't have one without the other.
