@Marscupcake I do. My legs were amputated so I'm very anxious about how others see me, so I use blankets to cover up any embarrassing parts🙂 also rely on carers to do practically every thing for me including having a shower and getting changed, I guess what helps me through that is trust. I'm not sure what illness you get anxiety over, but I  suppose one day we will both learn to accept the way we are💗gives you a giant tiny hug 💗

@Marscupcake

I definitely do - I always look for reassurance from other people to tell me I am fine and not healthy but I wish I knew how to better regulate myself without needing someone else.

3 steps to get better and trust me it works

  1. get check out by a doctor for whether you’re worried about for example get your heart checked or bloods done whatever to get the clarity that you’re okay and ask the doctors why if you have symptoms do they occur so at least you know why it happens. So increase your knowledge of it for example why do you have a headache oh because I’m stressed which makes my muscles tense and give me a headache
  2. once you’re all checked up by the doctors start your journey, start eating a healthy diet and get regular exercise, the stronger you are physically the stronger you will become mentally. Go to the gym. Have the mindset of I’m so strong and healthy there’s no way anything bad healthwise is happening to me especially after the doctors have said you’re okay.
  3. listen to meditation and try breathing exercises daily, and write 10 things you are thankful for daily as the mind can’t be thinking negative if you’re thinking on positive things. go do things or hobby’s you enjoy especially if they involve some sort of exercise, go have some fun and do things to forget about the bad stuff. Lastly be consistent !

trust me all this works, it worked for me.

also if you need a quick fix to stop yourself from thinking bad, get an elastic band and snap it on your wrist. It hurts but it works haha, Goodluck
