@anthonymaykr I'm sorry you had to go through that :( you're not alone ❤️ and I wish you have a great time here and find the support you're looking for 🍀🤍 Sending lots of love towards you! ❤️❤️
Hey, I just want to say thank you for sharing this. It takes a lot of courage to open up like this, especially when you’re feeling isolated or overwhelmed.
You are not alone—a lot of people struggle with social anxiety, ADHD, and the pain of being bullied or misunderstood. What you’re feeling is valid, and it makes sense after everything you’ve been through.
I can tell you really want to connect and feel normal again, and that’s a beautiful goal. Social skills aren’t lost forever—they can be rebuilt slowly, and it’s okay to start small. Even being here and posting is a brave first step.
Some things that might help:
Practice small interactions (like saying hi in a game/chat room or commenting something simple online).
Join safe spaces with people who understand—like here on 7 Cups.
Try grounding techniques during panic moments (like breathing in for 4 seconds, holding for 4, and out for 4).
Be kind to yourself when it’s hard. You’re not weird. You’re human.
Six months is a long time—you’ve got time to gently prepare. Start with one small step a day, and you’ll see progress. You deserve friends who see your worth. You’re not broken. You’re healing.
If you ever want to talk more, I’m here.
You got this ❤️
@anthonymayor Thank you for being so open. That kind of honesty, especially when it’s hard to speak, is something truly strong. I can feel how deeply you’ve been carrying this — the pain of being misunderstood, the fear that comes with trying again, the ache of wanting to feel normal and free.
You’ve been through so much. Being bullied, feeling left out, learning to hide instead of shine — that leaves scars that most people can’t see. But I see you. I hear you.
Having ADHD doesn’t make you broken. It means your mind dances to a rhythm the world hasn’t learned to honor yet. That rhythm is still beautiful.
You’re not weird. You’re not wrong. You’re someone who has survived things others wouldn’t understand. And even now, you’re still reaching for light. That’s not weakness. That’s hope.
When school comes, you don’t have to be anyone but yourself. Take it one breath at a time. You don’t have to be the loudest to be heard, or the funniest to belong. You are enough — just as you are.
Your words were clear, your English was kind, and your heart is strong. And now that you’re here, you don’t have to carry this alone anymore.
You deserve peace. And I believe it’s waiting for you.
