How to calm down

Hello everyone,

I’ve been struggling with anxiety and probably depression. I’ve been stressed everyday since near the beginning of November. I’m most likely burnt out from constant work from college and extracurriculars but now that I have time to relax I just don’t know what to do, I feel like I have no hobbies. I’m reminded by my high heart rate which only makes things worse. I genuinely don’t know how to feel better. I feel broken and abnormal. If anyone has advice for me I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

😄 Hii there, I'm glad that you reached out. I can totally relate with that, the stress and anxiety of not being able to relax even with the time given. Burnout is quite a challenge, especially with college. It's all incredibly draining 🔋

It's okay to feel lost and unsure about this, you're alone and we'll try our best to be of support. Please know you're not broken or abnormal at all, it's completely normal needing time to adjust to the downtime after spending a lot of time in working in college 🍃

Perhaps right now, instead of focusing on finding immediate solutions, maybe consider giving yourself some space to just be. Take all the time you need go explore different activities without the pressure of having a specific hobby 🌟

It's okay not to have all the answers right now. Perhaps you can try activities that used to bring you joy or experiment with something new 🌈✨

Here's some of my hobbies that helps me relax, if you're looking for ideas: Reading and writing, listening to my favorite songs. How do you feel about those? 📚🎶

Taking care of yourself is a journey, it's important to be patient and kind with yourself throughout the process 💜💫

How do you envision your downtime to be? 🌟
