How to control comfort eating?

Anxiety / ptsd - is making me consume more sugar and soda since the last month.

I cant let this slip out of my hands before I fall into regrets.

Any tips? Any words to tell your mind when youre reaching out to purchase that brownie and sevenup? Because even though I prepare beforehand, last minute anxiety shooting up, makes me give in to the escape sources.

I really understand your struggles, I did that for the longest time, munched when I wasn't hungry, grabbed unhealthy stuff as a treat. I yo-yo'd a lot.

I guess if you can find a way to vent out your emotions to people or through writing, at least then you might feel more in control?

I adapted what I could, so half healthy, half unhealthy. Instead of sugary fizzy drinks, have you tried any flavoured waters? Lots of them are low calorie or sugar free but still have a nice sweetness.

Or you can make your own at home plain water, drop in a lemon, lime, orange or whatever fruit slice.

An alternate to brownies could be yoghurt and fruit and crunchy oats/muesli.

Cereal bars you can keep in your bag, in case you get the munchies while out and about.

I feel like sometimes I sabotaged myself on purpose but now I results, it's easier to follow my plan and keep it off.

Thank u for these tips.... ill look out for that flavored water....and maybe some low calori cereal bars too as substitute for brownies. Its a bit of adjustment to make. I will try to take a small baby step towards it

@Creamyyy That's the sensible way, not everything at once, small gradual lifestyle changes, best of luck with it :)
