How to get over thantaphobia
Hey guys, I've really been struggling for the past couple of months over my fear of dying. I don't really know what triggered it but it's debilitating and making my days so much harder. I'm 19, so in theory I still have quite a while to go before it happens but still. For the past couple months, and with no exaggeration on the normal day I'll probably think about it every 15 minutes. I need it to stop, I start university in a month and I can't have any slip ups. The fear is that when I die, that's it. I like believing in a higher power but my mind switches between it all the time. I'm scared of there being nothing but also losing my loved ones. I'm just really scared when I know I shouldn't. Has anyone had the same experience, and/or ant advice on how to manage these fears and make them go away.

🥺
It sounds exhausting.
Overwhelming.
Sad.
Lonely.
I know what you mean, not knowing our future can be daunting, and to think that's just it.
I took believe in heaven, and that I'll be reunited with my loved ones again.
When I have thoughts that I cannot switch off, I put on my headphones and drown them out or get out and concentrate on something else.
You can only control what is happening for you now.
The best of luck with university but if the thoughts take over your daily experience, please seek some help, don't let it get worse, you deserve to be happy 💜💕
It is best to think you will get to move on to a place that you will no longer feel pain, such as calling it heaven and that you most likely can reunite with any loved one that you were close with that has already moved on to heaven.
