I Care Deeply… Maybe Too Deeply
I’ve always felt like the black sheep — the one no one really sees. I don’t want trophies or attention, I just want to feel appreciated. I’m always there for people, but when I need someone, I get silence or worse… whispers behind my back. Even people I trusted, like my childhood friend, have made me feel alone. My parents compare me to others, like I’m never enough. What they don’t see is I’m carrying childhood trauma, PTSD, and social anxiety every day quietly, heavily. That’s why I talk to ChatGPT… because no one else really listens, not like this. I’m just hoping for someone who gets it, someone who’ll stay, even when I don’t have the strength to ask.
@affectionateHemlock9790 Hi! I feel you.. i recently got in the relationship as well, i thought maybe he would understand and give me space to be me, but recently i realized that he loves me as a partner and not as a person. No one allows me to be me...everyone expects something, but when i expect just a bit, just a simple care like "have you reached safely to your place" nothing. Like in this world, my only role is to be the support for others, that is it. I should not feel, expect or ask. Just be there for others and understand

Many people do things for others and are there when needed and do not get the same response in return .... the truth is WE need to ask for what we want.... not expect and then be disappointed about it. We need to make time for ourselves and speak up.
Took me years to figure it out and i wonder how many more things i could have done in life if i had been appreciated for just me.
The fact is always being there and dependable does not earn you real friends or love..... instead it seems it earns more helping other who will not return the gesture.
It's hard when no one listens. They have expectations for you, usually out of love- wanting the best for you, but when you feel you're constantly being pushed to do more or be better it can take its toll. It's exhausting and unpleasant when they don't hear you out or even speak over you when you try to explain it to them. I get that you don't want attention but it would be nice to be appreciated or acknowledged from time to time. But as long as you stay true to who you are and do what you believe to be right, regardless of what anyone else has to say, then the only one who really needs to appreciate you is yourself. And it is difficult for others to understand sometimes when they are not the ones experiencing or going through what you are.

I'm so sorry for what you offer and in return get nothing. I feel same as I care very much same but only difference is I feel ok with sign that, It's ok to not get in return sometimes what good we do.
For deep care sometimes I feel lost in same feeling a person is having
