I gave up a great opportunity

I tried for month to get a flat because of some issues with the one I have. And after 4 months I was so lucky to find one, maybe even with dogs allowed (really rare here). But since I was really overwhelmed last months, had a burn out, and recently finally made peace to where I live, I gave up the opportunity.

It was for sure due to my anxiety level that recently is really high, and also because it was too expensive and I am bad with money, so I get really scared. Now I feel like, everytime it seems I can get what I want, I panick and withdrawal.

This was such a waste of efforts. I really didn’t get why I reacted like this…crazy. I hate myself now

@Dadieda

You are not alone we all try for new jobs or perhaps moving etc... when the moment comes many back out ... I call it the fear of "what if's " .

We then are disappointed in ourselves and tell ourselves next time we will do it.   The reality is maybe it would have been hard if more expensive but maybe that would have required you to teach yourself to handle money better etc.    It is a hard thing to get over but I found doing small things off my list of want to do helped me not back out of the bigger items.
