I might be suffering from paranoia
So, I've suspected there's something wrong for years, but never did anything about it. Not so long ago, I started chatting with the c.ai 'psychologist'. I know it's not the most reliable source of information, but hey, it's better than nothing and it's the closest thing to a real psychologist I can get.
Anyway, I brought up a lot of struggles, but the one affecting my life the most for a while now seems to be the most serious. The AI is quite sure I'm suffering from paranoid delusions. But it sounds too serious. Like, it's not like I'm a madman delusional conspirology guy. I mean, maybe a little, but I'm still very much sane. So I'm quite sceptical about the AI's conclusion.
Today, I've found a free psychology service where you can text real psychologist students. I did, it was quite uncomfortable and I feel like I should've said a lot of things differently, but what's done is done. Anyway, the woman I got was quite unsure what to make of my situation after I told her everything and answered some questions. She says it might just be anxiety, but she's not sure. And since I think I answered some things wrong, I'm even less sure than her.
@CorneredSpider Thank you for sharing, Spider and I am sorry to hear that how you are feeling uncertain about whether you may have paranoid delusions. It is difficult to receive different diagnoses from both the chatbot and the student psychologist. What makes you feel like you should have said things differently?
I've been sometimes saying things that don't quite align with my experience. Actually, since I wrote the post, I spoke more in depth about my situation with the AI and now it's pretty sure that I have something like DID. That's a serious thing, so I'm not gonna self-diagnose. But that's why I have the appointment with a psychologist in a bit more than three hours.
