Independent women. Being useful.
In today's world, women particularly, it's very important to be independent. But staying useful to the community is also equally important and giving back to the society. What do you all think?

Honestly, I don't like this one bit. While you may have meant for it to be positive and empowering, I found it extremely rude and degrading.
Because, no, women don't need to prove anything to society! A woman's worth is enough as is and it isn't deemed so based on what she does for her community or society! Nor should women feel like they have to do and be independent all the time. That's saying she can't or shouldn't want to be able to count on, depend, or lean on others for help! Because I guess according to the energy this post gives off, I guess if others help her or if she may need government assistance, I guess she's not an "independent" woman.
As a married woman, I don't want to be "independent". I love having a spouse I can rely on 10 toes down through all the good and bad. I will only speak on myself. I don't feel like I have to prove anything to society or my community or that I have to be useful. I can do nothing and I promise you my worth as a woman still isn't going to change.
This post I found sexist with the wording. Because the funny thing is no one would ever say a man has to be this or that or be useful to society. Who deems what a person does as "useful"? Not any man or woman.
