Job and social phobia
I'm just wondering... Anyone with social phobia, social anxiety, what is your job? I work on customer service, I'm scared of angry people and sometimes i feel the social anxiety when i just talk to beautiful people or high level job people. I'm struggling so much in my everyday life. Maybe it's a wrong profession to do. So I'm asking you guys with such phobias what you do for a living?

It can be very challenging to live with social anxiety, especially with a people-focused job. Most people would find it challenging to handle angry or frustrated customers without social anxiety.
Though avoiding situations that expose you to the thing that scares you can be detrimental in the long run. Ideally the choice of a career should not be guided by what is comfortable/uncomfortable but rather what you want to do. We have a whole series on Anxiety which applies to social phobia/social anxiety, you can view it here.
I work with kids at tutoring, it’s so much easier with someone who can’t judge you. Btw what you described about angry people and attractive people is scary accurate to me, do you feel this is because of Autism, I’ve always thought it would be OCD
