Living With Emotional Triggers

Woke up this morning already feeling emotionally exhausted. I wasn't even complaining I just felt low, overwhelmed, and so tired. Before sleeping, I clearly told my mum not to wake me up because my sleep cycle has been a mess lately. But this morning she banged on my door over something so small, and that was it. Once I'm awake, I can't fall back asleep, and it completely ruined the little rest I had.

I know these things seem insignificant. I know a door banging isn't the end of the world. That's exactly what frustrates me I know it shouldn't affect me this much, but it does. I don't like yelling or taking my frustration out on people, so I just go quiet. I don't even have the energy to explain what's wrong.

Sometimes I can't believe how emotionally fragile I've become. A loud bang, a small joke, even the sound of a spoon falling can make me feel overwhelmed, and before I know it, I'm crying like a child. I'm just so tired of feeling everything so deeply.

It's completely ok to feel.

To not always be quiet.

And push your feelings aside.

These on their own are small issues, but when they are combined they can become alot and especially when we are not getting enough sleep 💛

Don't feel guilty about considering yourself for once 💛
