Lowest point in my life
I cry every night. I feel like i’m a bad daughter, bad girlfriend and bad friend. I don’t want to dump vents onto others because they’ve had enough, they push me away, i don’t know what to do. i just need someone to talk to and cry out to. i don’t wanna be like this for the rest of my life.
Aww I know it's hard to feel that way . Trust me it's just a phase it'll get better . There people who love you . Take care
First, we are hear to listen to you and I feel like everyone who's had anxiety has felt like they are a burden to those they vent to or have had self-deprecating thoughts at some point. Id like to remind you that you're not a burden and no one is deserves to feel isolated or pushed away by those they love and trust. Its truly a miserable feeling and I am so sorry you're going through it.
I really wish I could tell you otherwise, but it's not a phase. Unfortunately, anxiety and depression are extremely difficult to treat and may come up over and over again throughout your life. However, these things don't define you at all! You've got a lot of other things that make you who you are besides your mental health. Fortunately, finding solutions for anxiety and depression is a hot topic right now, and there are multiple ways to cope with the terrible feelings they bring.
It sounds like the people around you right now either don't know how to support you when you struggle or they aren't understanding what's wrong. Sometimes it can feel like you're giving out a cry for help, but no one is picking up the signals. I like to write down how I'm feeling and how I want others to interpret my feelings. Then, when I'm in a calmer space, I can clearly articulate to these people what my main challenges are, and what I'm doing (and possibly they could also do) to help my anxiety feel more managed.
It took me a long time to figure out how to do this. And also to find the people who would support me through it, I've had to remove a lot of people from my life because of the tolls they took on my mental health. I still don't have much of a support network (which is why I'm here), but I've learned how to healthily comminicate my anxiety to the people I care most about. And the people who support me remind me when I feel terrible that I am just human, I can only cope with so much, and negative emotions are a normal part of life.
Please feel free to reach out. I am a newbie on the app, but not a newbie to anxiety.
You're not alone. I know it's been three days. But you're not alone.
You're not a bad friend. You're struggling. I know that these feelings feel like reality. They aren't.
I'm glad you spoke up and reached out. You helped me feel a little less alone today.
I hope you feel better soon. I had a time where I cried every day for a year or two and finally went on an antidepressant. They help a lot. So does therapy. Are you in a position where that is an option? I also read a devotional every morning. It helps me feel grounded. I joined a local needle work group. The superficial friendships there help my life feel more full in addition to have a craft to make something. Can you join a church or get into groups there? Best wishes and hugs!
