Medication

What was/is your experience with being prescribed/taking medication?

I’ve been in therapy for years, and it feels like it has helped as much as it can at this point. And I genuinely feel too anxious in my day to day life to do many of the things (natural remedies/just good behaviors) that would help me further. I’m trying to get an official diagnosis and try medication, but no matter where I look, the initial evaluations are all way too expensive, my insurance won’t cover any of it since I have a deductible I haven’t fully paid into, and all I read about is how terrible these medications are anyway and that they’re going to just make your life even worse and potentially completely ruin you for good so you never get better.

So, what is medication actually like? Is it even worth it to try?

@ConureConnor

I cannot answer this question as I don't take any.

But they work for many people.

It's important to have these conversations, until you find something that makes your daily life easier 💙
