Mindful thinking

Reality
The so-called real world is a space where one removes all filters, lets go of judgment, and fully immerses oneself in the present moment through the five senses of the body.
Everyone is inherently endowed with the ability to perceive reality. Yet in the current swept by desire and material pursuits, people gradually lose this awareness. The mind is wrapped layer upon layer in the anxiety of the times—driven by rapid technological advances and rampant materialism: intense educational pressure on children, endless KPIs, cutthroat competition, career fears amid the rise of AI… All are reshaping how we think. People cling to the idea of becoming better, becoming stronger, believing this alone will keep them steady amid the tides of the era.
Yet the antidote to anxiety is precisely to reawaken the connection between the body and the real world. Put down your phone, sit quietly with yourself for a few moments. Feel the gentle brush of fabric against your skin. Listen to the chirping of birds. Watch dewdrops rolling on leaves. Breathe in the faint fragrance of flowers… When you focus on sensing all this, you enter a state of flow aligned with the universe. You feel utterly loved. Your mind ceases its chasing and worrying. An inner peace, tranquility, and abundance well up from within. In this moment, you deeply understand the wisdom: you are already complete, and need nothing from outside.
Living with this clear insight, your heart becomes fully awake. You see how a material-obsessed society drives the masses forward in a mindless rush, much like your former self—exhausted, trapped, unable to break free. Yet you also feel deeply grateful, for through reconnecting with the real world, you have gained the wisdom to master desire. You learn to balance material and spiritual life, to care for your physical body, nourish your soul, and devote more time and energy to family, friends, and loved ones. In short, you understand the art of letting go and choosing.
When the day comes that your physical body wears thin and nears its end, you will accept its fading with calmness. For you have loved it well, lived a real life through it, and carried countless beautiful memories in your heart.
A life like this is enough.

That's quite an inspiring read and something I'm really struggling with due to a combination of PTSD and ADHD. Currently reducing my Cups time to take more mindful moments to restore a sense of balance and started working with an online therapist last week, hoping to eventually fell this way in quiet moments.
