Morning anxiety is terrible
Does anyone else suffer from morning anxiety? The moment I wake up it is right there like a punch to the gut. It follows me throughout the day as well. I believe I'm having a nervous breakdown. Can anyone else relate to this? Thanks.

I'm sorry you are struggling so much.
When you wake up, all the worries and what ifs for the day, can come flooding in.
I sit and count my breaths until my heart rate calms down.
I have a cup of tea.
And listen to music, to stop the overthinking.
I remind myself that I'm safe, this cannot hurt me and it will pass 💚

Thank you. It's nice to know I'm not alone. Only problem is that it gets worse as the day progresses.
I go through the same thing. I can't remember a day when I was excited to get out of bed. I just sit and let my inner thoughts control me. I have gotten better at getting through them. But now I'm going through a separation and I'm not doing great.
I can relate. Mine starts in the last part of sleep, so I get it in my dreams and wake up to it. I've been taking hydroxyzine for anxiety and it kicks in about 15 minutes after taking, so it helps once I'm up and moving. Occasionally I even get a morning without anxiety.
