My Mental Journey
I started my healing March 2022, due years of mental and verbal abuse from family, failed friendships and relationships.
This journey has taught me so much about myself and others. We all have a past that doesn’t mean we’re not capable of changing for the better.
My mental health started getting worse after my last relationship ended in 2020, I got involved with a “situationship” in July 2021-Fed 22 and they still played in my face. After that my dating life came to an end and I decided to take a vow of abstinence. I became depressed, I lost my job, and now I’m more introverted than I have ever been.
Today in 2025 I have been getting better with my mental health but still have some challenges. Lately it’s been just panic attacks causing my heart rate to go up, keeping me from enjoying the little things. I was told to seek therapy but I can’t afford it, so now I’m here.
Please just talk to me, check in just to say hey, I love hugs you can send the emoji hug and I would love it. I just can’t be alone with my thoughts anymore just need someone to talk to.
@SpaceheadV Giving you a biggg warm hug🫂🫂
You don't have to bear it all alone like you did before. You don't have to always show strong. Vent out here on 7 cups. Thoughts are not always meant to be endured alone.
Sending love💕
Hi @SpaceheadV!
I hope your day is going amazing! 🤍
I am so sorry that you lost your job during the 2021 and 2022 years, you are not alone and we are so here for you! Glad to hear your mental health is getting better despite some challenges.
As much as I cannot offer professional advise to your panic attacks, that causes your heart to rise I recommend the following.
Box-breathing:
- - Box Breathing Exercises is a simple relax technique which can reduce stress, improve mood and slow your heart rate down.
-- Box Breathing Exercises are very easy to do. You can picture a box, then breathe in and imagine the box while breathing, same as you exhale, make sure you repeat at least 3-5 times.
-- Should the PA (Panic Attack) become dangerous, meaning unable to breathe, or any other symptom it is best to seek a public clinic for assistance.
Many Wishes!
